I don't post much anymore because I just don't find that much interesting to shoot....

But I am visiting my son and his home is pretty located in a very natural environment, a house in the woods so to speak...

These shots are what I was able to find this morning. This is going to take a while to post as I think that I will be putting up about 11 shots.

I believe all the shots were taken with my Sigma 180mm Macro with a 1.4 TC attached. ISO 160, f/16, 125th Sec, EX 430II flash with a home made paper towel diffuser.

That furry one is really big, I was surprised that it did not have the smaller eyes that some of the big jumpers do.

The Magnolia Green was kinda unique, I pulled him off a porch ceiling and took him out back and put him onto a Bamboo plant, what was strange is that he never got off of that Bamboo plant, It was almost as if it was staying put in unknown surroundings. After more than an hour of shooting I put him back on the front porch and he immediately crawled back to the ceiling and took up as if nothing had happened. I found a smaller female, but did not see the point in bothering her after these.

That's crazy.. Every time I try to move one for better shot, they take to roaming around like the want to find way home. Great series, glad your having fun.
