This is the lady who teaches piano to our grandchildren. I shot her at a recital Sunday. It was a routine shot that turned out reasonably well after some photo shopping...cleaned out extraneous details...highlighted her head and shoulders...burned in the hair and sharpened the face.
Don't sharpen a lady's face- it brings out too many details. Sharpen features: eyes, lips, etc. instead.
I usually don't. Photoshop is the best thing that ever happened top female vanity. This was a hand held available light shot and was a little fuzzier overall than I would have liked.
