I see pink!

And for me to see pink, it must really be pink! I'm red/green colourblind.

This is my stepson. He is dumber than a box of rocks. He buys this thing and 3 other Chinese knockoff's. He figured that he could fix them up and sell them. He spent the winter not doing anything to them except for this one.

On this one he replaced the Starter, the coil, relay, and the electronic controller box. Turns out all that was wrong with it was that the ground wire on the battery was disconnected.

Yesterday, he got another one running. He took it for a test drive and parked it behind his pick up truck. He gets off of the scooter and gets into his truck, and then backs over it, destroying the thing. Now it is not even good for parts.

Run Forrest, Run!
Run Forrest, Run!...

It doesn't work with this guy. All I see from him is that he is using up air that you and I need to breathe with. My poor wife knows this.

tainkc, It might help if you gave him some encouragement
rather than all the put downs. I had a Step-Father that nothing
could be done to please him. His favorite saying to me was (If
you were working for Shit you wouldn't get a smell) Kids don't
grow up as fast as we did and they see things different than
we do in todays world. Go out and get your hands greasy with
him you will never know what it could take to turn them around
until you try. Just my two cents worth. mdh

You don't understand. He is 40 years old and he still lives with us. He claimed mental disability so he would not have to pay child support. He used to work at Ford. He took the buyout of $110,000.00. He did buy his truck with some of the money ($7,000.00). and gave the rest to a friend to hold because he thinks all banks are corrupt and will steal your money. About a week later he asked his friend for the money back so he could buy some land. Take a wild guess as to what the friend said?

Then he took the friend to court. Since there was no written contract, Guess as to how the judge ruled?

He gets 2 checks (large ones) every month from the government. Within days, it is all gone. We have no idea how he spends it. He still has no bank account so we can not trace a dime of this. Now he is angry because he thinks they (who ever they is) are holding back on his money. His money? That is yours and mine money going to him. He has not paid us a penny in rent either yet the courts are making it almost impossible for us to boot him out. We are trying though.

Oh, and he still thinks he knows everything.

Shoot him some slack? I don't think so.

getting your hands greasy with him just put your foot up his

what you are going through with members of my on family than
I will discuss on this forum. Please feel free to PM me, maybe
we can vent together. mdh

True. That is, unless the crook is gay.

He is. But he is not a bad person. Just not too swift.

Well, if you ever do get a scooter, make sure you are wearing a dress. Gotta' thrill the neighbors.
