I decided to listen to some sound advice and repost this one without the frame and after trying to straighten the roof I was forced to change the location of the objects that I added, please let me know what you think in comparison to the first one

Don't know about the first one, but the dog and the bb both look totally staged to me. The bb really looks out of place, and that leads me to look at the dog differently. Perhaps if only the dog were there it wouldn't look as obvious. JMTC.

the dog looks like he is hoovering six inches off the ground. BB looks alright, although as previously stated "out of place".

Hi. It would help to see the original. You should probably download both the original and the new version when you start a new thread of this sort. I suspect you put in the dog and basketball to make it look more like there was a subject? It does seem to me that with the way you shot this, the bridge doesn't seem to be a subject but almost more of a frame that should have a subject in it. I have tried to think what would become a good subject and the only thing I can think of is if you could take a shot of a young couple walking with their arms around each other and put them toward the middle to back area of the bridge. You would need to shoot them in a setting that was pretty much as deep a shadow as there was in the bridge shade. If they are a little dark that would be appropriate for this scene. You would need to shoot them facing the right direction to be walking through the bridge and maybe from a distance to make it easier to position them in the bridge. It would be a challenging project if you want a challenge. If you decide to try it, I would love to see the results. Indeed, the dog, for some reason, does seem to be floating above the bridge. For me the dog and basketball both look out of place. I am going to attach another comment showing you what darkening the highlights with pse can do to remove the glares and improve/return color.

I understand ! I like the darker one which the original was darker and started over at hte beginning to try to straighten the roof some.

I am new at this sign, can you explain to me how to ans comments. Does the reply go back to the one who commented only and also how do you handle the Quote reply ( I guess --what is the difference in the two)

The picture is bland without the added objects... I have just started adding objects to photos just to see if I can get the hang of it. Thanks again for your very helpful advice.

Catzeye, When you hit quote reply the comment of the person you are addressing will be included with your message. This is preferable as otherwise we don't know who you are responding to. Your comment will be added to the thread. If you want to have what you say go only to the person you are addressing, click on their name in this thread and it will take you to their page. Click send PM (personal message) and it will go only to them.
