If you held this lens in your hand you would say it is mint. It's not only because it's used. This could pass for new in the box. I would like 625.00 for it. You ship. You won't find a better copy of this beauty. Cheers, Ron.

Just a comment that I have and use that lens a lot and highly recommend it for DX users. Here's a sample.

Thanks nimbushopper. Yes, this is a very good lens and is excellent on my d7000. It is the lens to which all other dx wide zoom lenses are compared. Cheers...

I have the first 18-200 VR. The first edition has a VR logo in red lettering. The VR logo on the VR II is gold. I think that is correct?
