I do a lot of landscape photography with my Nikon d5100. I often find that the 18-55 kit lens does not give me a wide enough view. Does anyone have experience with this Tokina lens? Will auto focus work on a d5100? Thanks for any help or suggestions.

I have this lens & it is a beauty-well made, razor sharp, good A/F, & won't break the bank. I have three Nikons (D3100, D7000, D7100) & it auto focuses on all three. As a matter of fact, it will auto focus in light conditions so bad that my Nikon & Sigma lenses won't focus.

I have the OLD one - Version 1 {and on a Canon 7D}
Great lens !! You'll pay a lot more for less capability elsewhere.
