I LOVE the idea Tompar, but for me I would like to se a bit more contrast and punch. Sorry, thats just me.

Thats cool mate.. playing with a wet plate look, just watched a western on TCM hence the subject and look ish )

I'm sorry GWR100...more contrast?
I like the shots...plenty of blacks. If anything maybe a little lighter?

Number one is my favorite in B/W. I agree that the contrast should be upped and maybe cropped a bit more from the top and bottom.

I played with it a bit, change to sepia, but don't know if it really improved your shot. I do love the boots though!

Hi I like any photo that stops things in place. Do it again with the boots on higher ground and try to add a spark of something in the photo, maybe a penny on the ground too. Something like that. This is just an opinion ;) I like it with a bit of color too.

Hi Vicki thanks for the input. They are just casual snaps from a walk the other day with my sister. Rest assured if they were for real it would be different. It was more to do with the effect rather than the subject )

this is the look i was going for, i think youll see what i mean.
Although your edits are lovely they are not akin to the wet plate look (nor might mine in some eyes lol)
