I just tried to get an Efex plugin installed and something in windows just wouldn't let it install. I spent over an hour with a tech trying to get it to work. So now I'm back at the drawing board looking for a really great plugin to simply enhance my photos...
my favorite photoshop plugins are everything that topaz makes and everything that oneone makes.
maybe the plugin you are using is for only a certain version of photoshop.
No, it's actually some windows thing and the lady said she tried getting around it every way she could. She said I'd have to contact Microsoft to see if they could tell me a way. I told her I'd just get my $$ back. Tried a Topaz plugin and had a Paypal problem, tried paying another way and it said I couldn't until I took care of the Paypal prob. Tried an OnOne trial plugin and couldn't get it to work, either. Man. I guess I'm just supposed to do it all the hard way--PS.

I second Topaz! OnOne I'm not too familiar.
Onone photo tools free version..It works on window 7 but not on my main puter..someting about gl video card blah blah blah. I also like topaz adjust.
I'm trying to download a trial version of Topaz Adjust as we speak. Hope it works...

Mary,
Prior to try/buy always look at the System Requirements for that program/plug-in. It saves a lot of time and aggravation unless, of course, you don't want to believe the developer's word.
I know from experience that Topaz products don't play nice with my Wacom digitizer but they have been kind enough to send me a fix for each of their modules. Since Adjust 5 is just out I emailed them for the fix prior to installing the upgrade.....finally learned....now just waiting for their response.
Hope Adjust works for you...it looks like an awesome upgrade.

I am a big fan of Topaz plug ins. Nik is also top of the line.
Topaz, Nik and OnONE.
Only had one issue with a downlowad and Nik got it to work without anymore problems.

I have OnOne, Topaz, and Nik. My favorite is OnOne and they have great live webinars every week.

Can't agree more. Its "ON ONE" Both programs offer great programs at decent prices.
Am I wrong that Topaz uses presets that are actually Photoshop adjustments?
