more great shots tinus, I haven't found any assassin bugs our here in Cali, I see you're iin East Tex, does that mean they need a more humid environment than we have our here? If they are here, can someone clue me iinto their preferred habitat so I can shoot some? Those are some bad-ass lookin' bugs!

A few months back, I found one in my Bixby Knolls garden: http://www.uglyhedgehog.com/t-101049-1.html .
I have also seen them in California Heights neighborhood.

i think they are every where (not sure about the cold northern states)they are always in shrubs and brush even flowers here.
