Up until a few days ago, I received an email at around 5:00 a.m. telling me of the days new topics. What happened to that?

The alerts come into my email box generally around 5:30 am. Did you inadvertently disable your email alert function??

Once in while they seem to get a notice from some email servers that their email notice is considered spam. Then you have to check your profile to make sure you are still set up for email notices and in about 30 days they should start again.

I just look at the "Newest Topics" at the top of the page and follow the "Unread" ones.

Yes, it's probably in your spam folder. But did you know that the list is only about 1/3 of what was actually posted in a 24 hour period - at least in photo forum? As Wahawk mentioned, try clicking "Newest Topics" at top of page.

The "Digest" is only the 'most active' or something like that. Looking at "Newest Topics" gives you ALL of the postings in the sections that you are subscribed to.

There are getting to be more sections now with the break-aways for close-up, macros, etc so now it is easier for me to get thru the listings since I do NOT like having to follow so many sections. Photo Gallery and Main Photo Discussion areas are enough, really no need for the others.

I have an email every morning, the topic is always "Bob, UglyHedgehop.com (today's date) photographic forum".

I like this way, sure hope no one gets the idea to change it.

For some reasons, unknown and totally of no concern to me, my updates started going to my AOL spam folder. Who needs all these updates if you're a regular HOG, anyway ??
