French Scam

I'm used to getting scam emails offering me millions of dollars if I send someone all my banking info. Last night I got an email from a French electric and gas company asking me to go to their site and give my information. Since I don't need electricity or gas from a French company, I declined. Looking into this, I found that it is getting to be a popular scam, and it does a good job of imitating the actual French company's site.

Jerry, thanks for this heads-up. I have not seen this particular scam yet but am constantly on the look-out, both for myself and family. You just can't be too careful these days.

Hmmmm....I have a section in my email for suspect email that may have some that I want to see. Then there is the section for spam that I don't even look at. Jerry, are you reading the spam section? No wonder you're getting these crazy offers.

No, this came through in my regular email. I have to check my Junk folder every day because good mail gets put there - UHH, for example.
