One of the species of Birch trees probably, I peel them and use the bark as firelighters.

I would like to thank everyone above for looking and leaving a comment.

Wonky tripod and GRW 100. I personally do not know what kind of tree this was. I am happy to accept it as a birch.

Rpavich: I have it in a LightRoom collection entitled Textures and Backgrounds.I always enjoy reading what you have to say and admire your portraits.

Lycaflex. Thank you. Althugh the orange is really there, I must admit to have played with the LightRoom HSL sliders - just a bit.

Wahawk. I agree. Haven't decided if I will use it as a background or a texture. Depends on what I come up with as a foreground

The texture is really great. I would think about using this as a background of a portrait. I think that it would really be interesting.
Do you mind if I tried to use it as a background to see how it would look?
