I agree with Steves last sentence above, take your time and choose carefully.
Just a word of advice for those submitting photos for the contest. There are some great looking photo when viewed as smaller thumbnail pictures, but when they are downloaded and viewed, which should be done before voting, just about all of them are out of focus, have a lot of noise in them, or the depth of field is way off. Do any of you actually enlarge your photos to see what they look like before submitting them? Your photo should be reasonably clear when enlarged to full size, or better yet spot on sharp. Also many of you are not watching the horizon, as many are tilting to the left or right. This is just my observations and thoughts, and I'm not picking on anyone in particular. Just some suggestion for all of us to hopefully take better pictures. If this was a money paying contest, most of the submitted photos would not make the cut in my opinion.
The photo I voted for was sharp as a thumbnail, and also sharp when enlarged to full size. Something we all should strive for when we take pictures.
Does anyone else agree with this.....?

I think it is great you brought this up as we are all here to learn and what better way to do that than the judges. Thank you!

Hi Steve... Thanks... Not sure everyone will even see the post though, wasn't sure where to even post it. I have enlarged many of my wife's and my photos to 20" x 30" and had them printed out, so it's something I strive for every time I shoot. Yours was the only comment I received, thought I'd tick more people off with my comment....;0)
