4 are nice pics but the robin is spot on, sharp, clear, good colour well caught and perfect dof

Thanks JR1, much appreciated. Big Sig 150-500 on tripod with gimble head. Still trying to perfect the technique.

I have found that the 150-500 is more, well, fussy / critical when it comes to focus than the 120-400

Robin is 100% though, so is the blackbird I just think the "whole" picture with the robin is A1

The Robin and Blackbird are happy to pose. The Treecreepers are difficult to get close to and never still for a moment. The lens was also confused by twigs and branches in the foreground and inconsistent levels of light. It's great fun trying to bring it all together though.
