macro flower shots

I would appreciate all suggestions of how to improve on these photos. I have found that I do like macro as much as landscapes so all help is great.

Very good. Like #3. Maybe a little more depth into 1
and a little less shadow. But, very good.

Thank you I was just studying depth of field so now I have a little better understanding of these.

Personally I would say they are not macro they are close up shots, not bad.

Ok thanks I was on macro setting when taking the two flower shots and the lens was almost touching. the water fall I know was not macro it was just a close up shot. Again thanks for the comments

I guess it was a zoom lens that states macro, which isn't really macro, where as dedicated macro lenses are

Are those dandylions ? Really ? I thought they were some kind of exotic blooms. Beautiful! And I fight them all summer long.
