Very, very nice! As a fairly new owner of the 7D and newbie to getting those shots that are better than a quick snapshot, I struggle with Action shots and love to see those who do them well, which this is :) May I ask what mode you were using? I tend to use the TV mode a lot when photographing dog obedience class and lots of movement with heeling.

I use Tv mode and keep ny shutter at 1/1000 to freeze the action without blur.

Very nice. You might want to play around with shutter speed some time and try for a little blur (motion). Done well it can introduce a whole new perspective to the image. This also looks good with batters to show motion of the bat. :)
