Pinch hitting for Annette who is feeling very tired (I talked with Sher) and weak. She really misses us and tries to peek in.
This is the day to "Hit Me with Your Best Shot". It may have something to do with one of the challenges in the past week (children, birds, bridges) but you may have something else you consider your best shot. Post it and tell us why it's your best.
It's OK if you have to delve into your archives, but consider some of the things Annette likes and perhaps post them with a word for her: spring flowers, warmth, benches, and humorous signs.
Good luck, can't wait to see and here we go...
A week ago I was at a woman's retreat. Theme was "Seaside" . Sleet decorated our peaceful adirondack chairs...
A "holy" bench for you, Annette. If it's "Holy" sit on it and I'll pray it will help. Maybe it's Swiss Cheese to remind you of WI.
An occupied seaside bench on a foggy morning
Some "springy" pussy willows almost past their prime
A week ago I was taking pet pictures of dogs and cats wearing custom pet collars designed and crafted by a friend of mine. The photos will be used on her publicity, business card etc. These are just a few of the shots (I posted the retriever ones and may post again, but not tonight). Some of these will be used to show the product and some will be used in some way to show "satisfied" customers.
Princess, the Princess
Bad Hair Day - just plain funny
Our unsociable, dysfunctional cat.
Her card. She is Scottish and wanted the tartan background

Pat, great shots. However let me say, a bad hair day is better than a no hair day any day.

I don't know about that! I was told that the Lord only made a few good heads and on the rest he put hair!

And grass doesn't grow on a busy street!!
This is the one and only daffodil bloom my plant had this year. Took this shot on the 4th of April.

well I sure do miss Annette but I think she would be very happy with this. Great job and wonderful start Maine Mom! I'll post if I ever gain access ti my computer. My wife has made it a point to consume my computer so I cannot mess with pictures LOL. The hard drive on her computer gave out so now she uses mine. But she don't like to share LOL. Anyway, check in later
Pat - great start and wonderful shots - all of them! Thanks for hosting and I am not sure how my day will pan out cause i have to mow my lawn and take the car to the shop.... So when I have time I will jump in and comment.
Annette, we are all thinking of you as you can tell. Hoping you have a speedy recovery and no more set backs. Love ya.
No benches or signs but how about a chair with my guitar... I like this shot because it seems to be saying "won't someone come and play me a happy tune"
I like the sky reflection and the detail in the strings
a lone weed... sometimes they just captivate me
really zoomed on this one
I like the way the weed curled around the dandy bloom
