My wife & I visited San Antonio over Easter weekend, and we were delighted with our experience in the Alamo City. So here are just a few of the images that I was fortunate enough to capture. By the way, this is my first time posting on UHH. Comments/questions are welcome.
I just liked this combination of colors, lines, and shapes. Taken in the Mercado area of downtown S.A.
This array of caps made for a good shot with vibrant colors.
The Alamo City's namesake
Entrance to the Alamo, very elegant
This building is just across the street from the Alamo. Taken in early evening.
One of several boats that navigate the S.A. River
The River Walk is lined with shops, restaurants, and people.
One of several foot bridges over the river.
Another foot bridge connecting the banks of the S.A. River
I just liked these stately columns topped with plants.
Our boat met another beneath a city street.
I liked the look of this illuminated building at dusk. No tripod here, just supported my camera on a bridge railing. Also took multiple shots as insurance.
Very nice set. Thank you for sharing these. Looks like a wonderful trip.

Beautiful shots, beautiful city! I really think the last one is wow!
Looks like a lovely place to visit.
Very nice set. I haven't been there in years and must go back.
Thanks for the comment. I had not been to S.A. myself for several years. I think the thing that struck me the most was just how "tourist friendly" S.A. is, at least in downtown, as compared to Houston. With that said however, Houston has made some baby steps in becoming a bit more friendly for tourists & pedestrians.
Good job tbell7D! Beautiful colors.
