ND filters and polarizer filters can make very interesting effects
a few examples--
midday sun taken with polarizer filter
river water taken with 2 # 4 ND filters
spillage pipe running into a river
I love picture #3 it is my fav out of the 3 but the tree/stick is alittle distracting. I am sure there was nothing you could do to get it out of the way, none the less great pic!!
Great photos! What kind of camera are you using?
Love the second photo of the river, really nice. Is that branch coming out of the overflow, is so, timing is everything. How did you get the branch in focus and the water so soft.

Olympus E30 with a 50-200 f2.8 lens with #4 ND filter on lens
I love both water shots! Well done.

Thanks a lot. My first few shots with ND filters.
Guess they turned out fairly well.
At first I think the limb is distracting. But,,,,, it almost looks 3D. Second thought this is a prety cool photo. Good job.
I think the tree sticking out has an almost surreal feel because of the remarkable 3D effect. It may not be as artistic as the others but it sure takes the cake for unique!
