Hi to all...I've watching and learning so much from the forum and took a lot time to attach a photo.
saw this and realized in would do well in color infrared
Oaks and moss taken with a Nikon D70
Critique both...I can take it and learn.
Those are very nice, I especially like the second one.
Love them both but the second is the best in my eyes. I must investigate IR.
Tess,
I haven't noticed a lot of IR in general and color IR in particular at this site.
I'm a B&W IR man myself, color takes me too long (~ an hour per photo) and I have trouble deciding when I'm done.
Here is a site dedicated to IR:
http://irphotocom.proboards.com/index.cgi?Those people at that site would be much more help.
Here are a few of my color IR, I made them over a year ago and honestly I don't remember what I did.

I'm just learning IR and just had my D7100 converted to Super Blue + IR. I don't know specifically about the D70, but the first picture (red/pink) looks just like mine out of the camera. Many Nikon DSLRs do not take a correct white balance in IR. Even with trying to use a pre-set WB. My D7100 will not. I suggest that you take the pictures in RAW, and then use one of Nikon's software, View NX-i, Capture NX D, or if you all ready own it, Capture NX 2. Use that software to change the WB by using set WB, Gray point, marquee. After you set the WB using the Nikon software, save in jpeg or tif and then import into your editing software. I think you'll like the results.
I also have a D7100 converted to IR. I usually just do B&W but would like to play around in color. Not sure how to deal with the Nikon software. Do you add this software into the camera? Do I add it in Photoshop somehow? Can you go through this for me from the beginning?

I’m curious what nm did you have your cameras converted to
I have an Olympus PenF I’m going to sent to Lifepexil and I think I’d like to play with color as well as B&W. Color I think needs to be 590nm while B&W is better converted to 590nm
Any advice would be appreciated
Is advance
Thank You
