iPad as Camera? Might be a Good Idea

I've seen a couple of people using their iPad as a camera. Yes, it does look strange. You don't know if they're walking along watching a movie or taking pictures. Well, having that big thing in front of your face could be a good idea.

Let's said you're at a softball game, and a foul ball comes flying at your face. Wouldn't it be nice to have your camera/iPod block the ball? That happened to a man in Iowa, and it was caught on tape. Take a look.

My wife took her sewing machine in to get it fixed. She took an example of the bad stiching. she could not leave it because she needed the garment with the bad stiching. the repair guy was not there and so the lady took out her iPad and took a pic of the stiching. It was clear and way blown up on her iPad screen I think the macro guys would be impressed - Dave

I didn't need an iPad. Just a kid sitting next to me with a mitt to catch this ball at Wrigley field last year. Thanks to him I'm not wearing my Ji as a permanent eyepiece!

Well while we are on the subject.
Here is one very lucky reporter and one very reactive baseballer.

I heard the NFL is going to start installing iPads on players helmets in place of face masks.
