Does anyone have and use this lens? I picked one up at the pawn shop yesterday. It was bundled with a tripod. It doesn't appear that either have been out of the box much. $50!! Apparently they were sold bundled by Montgomery Ward. I'll have to get an adapter as the lens is for a Canon and I shoot Sony, but the adapter is only $9 at Adorama. Let me know what your experience is, please.

Probably a variant of the current Samyang and made under many names for at least 40 years. I once acheived a great pic of motorcycle racing on 35mm, but lost the lens.
Recently I have played with the Samyang, it not a camera lens more a cheap telescope. Difficult to focus or hold steady, it can be reasonable in good light. Try it and see.
I have been experimenting with an extension ring to bring focus closer for birds in the garden.
Enlargements from a good 300 will probably be better and certainly have better contrast.
Play with it for fun!

Solomon, Sorry, but I'm not selling it. Not at this time, anyway. If I find that I can't get an adapter for my camera to use it with I will consider selling it. I was just fishing for any information someone might have about it. I'll keep you in mind.

Shagbat, thanks for the feedback. I'm hoping to acquire an adapter for my camera and looking forward to playing with it.
