I received this link from a Yahoo Group to a page of photos taken by Timothy O'Sullivan in the late 1800s. I thought this was the perfect place to post it where it would really be appreciated.

Absolutely wonderful presentation! I think Sullivan had Matthew Brady beat, hands down. His photos are far more "real".

Do you think it is clear which photographer (Brady or O'Sullivan) took particular pictures? I did a lot of research on Brady (used to dress up like him and show students the pics he took, especially of Lincoln) and was not sure.

That seems to have a few more pictures but it could just be my memory, some of the comments are a little weird.
