I want to continue pursuing photography in all forms. Right now I deal manily with architecture, nature, and children or family photos. Doing my first wedding in a month. Kind of nervous about that. Using a Nikon D3000 and would like to upgrade to a camera that doesn't quite have as much noise at a lower level iso..or maybe it's me. i have an 55-85 mm lens that I like best. Also have a 50 mm lens, and a 200 zoom lens. However, I have found (for me) it's better just to get as close to the subject as I can, and with a bad knee that isn't always easy. But, I have done it and will continue to do so, even to the warnings from my family. Can't help it, love what i do!

If your asking the members of UHH if your talented enough to become a pro, you really should post a sample of your work.

Nice work. I really like the chair. Keep it up and continue to shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot and shoot. Have you tried black and white photos? Looking forward to seeing more of your work.

I want to continue pursuing photography in all for... (show quote)

Theres nothing wrong with your camera. Your photographs show great promise and will get better as you go. Keep your ISO setting to 150 or 200 and you wont generate noise at that speed.

Just keep taking picures and if your happy with them - then you've cracked it.

The old adage is that "The Magicians wand does not detrmine the qualty of his magic!" Houdini and David Copperfield never had a wand, but their magic .. Stunning. Keep at it and you will do very well.

Thank you for your input. I do try to keep my iso at 100 at all times. I work in Manual mode for the most part. Figured if I was going to learn, I might as well learn from the "get-go" so to speak.

I like the leaf shot. It's very well done. Colours look good, focus is great.

Thank you! The flower shot was a tad difficult as it was windy and I was laying in mud at the time. Oh well...

My favorites would be the chair and the flower, good eye for subject matter and composition.

I would say you have enough talent. Love the warmth and texturs of the chair shot.

Thank you. I also liked the way the evening sun was coming into the barn through the cracks...almost made it look as if the hay was on fire.

Yes. My favorites -- the chair and the flower. Just shoot, shoot, shoot and shoot. If you could see the chair and the flower, you have the talent. Just continue developing it.
