My husband jokingly put this "dead" very tiny mozzie on the table and said shoot that for practice ... It was about 3mm I could hardly see it to focus . It was a joke but I was surprised to see what they looked like. It wasnt dead by the way and tried to fly away ...unsuccessfully . Annoying little bugs , we have a couple of nasty diseases Ross river fever and Denghi fever , not sure hoe to spell the last one. They are spread by mozzie bites and can make you very ill for quite a long time . My daughter was ill for 12 months with Ross river fever
Smack that sucker!
They are all decent, but image #1 has the best composition.
Thanks Douglass, yes I did smack it. I have added more diffusion to my flash, it has reduced a lot of the reflective glare.
Thanks for the help.

Very sharp Yvonne!! We have them here to and they carry some bad things also. We call them Mosquitos tho. :)

They are a fairly recent import to the states, in the South east we call them Tiger Mosquitoes (Aedes albopictus). Not very nice and active all day and night. All the ones that I can photograph are considerably flattened.
