There's nothing shameful about choosing NOT to own a gun. Maybe statistics show that people of Jewish faith are less likely to own guns than non-Jewish people. If so, one can assume that there are less shootings occuring in Jewish households, family members killing each other with bullets.

You can assume anything you want. We still have the first amendment for now.

I have given up hope for these people. It's their families I worry about.Imagine,a father and/or husband that wouldn't do ANYTHING he can to protect them.I guess that's what getting away from God will get ya! :(

I don't know, maybe in North America, but in Israel most people go to work and shopping with an Uzi hung on their shoulder, and there is almost no domestic violence with firearms. Also, the Swiss come to mind.

What a bunch of horse sh*t!

I suggest you watch Shindler's List or Judgement at Nuremberg or read about the Holocaust.

Of the 6 Million Jews killed by the Nazis some 4 Million were killed by the German Army. As the Army moved west they had the einsatzgruppen groupen who simply rounded up those caught in the battle and killed them.

Now I know you believe that you and your gun can stand up against a trained army, but I have news for you. You give me 5,000 good ole boys with their fake AR15s and I'll take one company of paratroopers and I will deliver to you 5,000 dead good ole boys!

The Jews tried to resist in the Warsaw Ghetto uprising. Read about it!

You are ignorant from what you speak.

WoW! Still no sheep??!? They must be stunned near-catatonic after having one of their most cherished belief cornerstones proven false in such a clear and irrefutable manner. It's sad not even one of them has the intellectual fortitude to admit maybe, just maybe, our side of the argument has some possible validity. Mindless greed on the right and utterly closed minds on the left. Sad. ......Oh cool, finally one. Baaa-aaa! =)

What you guys don't realise is that it has been proved over, and over, and over again, that the best way way to make you and your families safer (assuming you do not live in a war zone) is to control possession of, or remove almost entirely, firearms.

Switzerland does have a high gun ownership, but they have the good sense to ,impose some of the strictest gun regulation of the Western World.

The individual right to bear arms is anachronistic and directly causes North of 30.000 deaths per year in America. The Founding Fathers did not envisage modern day America, modern weapons, or the idiotic vugilantism mindset which causes so many innocent deaths.

The right to bear arms has reached a point where the individual freedom is counter to the greater public interest, so, as has happened with the First Amendment, it needs to be changed.

The founding fathers knew exactly what they wrote and that it would stand the test of time. They purposefully did not mention muskets as they knew the weaponry would change through ingenuity. The only thing that needs to change is your location if you are so disturbed by something that is much older and wiser than yourself.
