Which Topaz to purchase?

Hi Everyone. I've read many references to Topaz as an editing tool. When I googled Topaz, I was surprised to see so many choices. I'm wondering which one most people recommend as a "basic, all-purpose" editing tool. Thanks for your thoughts. Oh, yes, I use Elements 11 on my PC.

Indeed plugins make editing/Postprocessing .... well, by analogy... DOS worked, but Windows/Mac makes life quick and easy.

Paintshop-Pro X5 "Ultimate" comes with NIK & KPT plugins. The total cost, less than elements; ~ $50 on sale.

Your question, if you only get one Topaz, Adjust is the more general magic maker. The B&W if you are a Film-Noir gal. I do not find any them difficult;you will develop your style. Mine is over detailed and lots of saturation art effect.

You get a healthy discount after watching a Webinar so signup and watch and get a discount code. My work flow came from a webinar: denoise-detail-adjust or other mods.

Oh forgot,,, Remask is great for working with layers... in a comparison Topaz Remask rated quite high. And, Yes, I have the full package.

If you wait you'll be able to purchase the package for a 50% discount. Respond to one of their free Webinars and they will give a discount code usually of 35%. The 50% one came before Christmas last year and that is what I used. It seems to me to be a good deal.

I consider Topaz as more of a special effects tool than as a stand alone editing tool. It will not replace what Elements does. It works seamlessly with Elements.

The NIK software that comes with PSP ultimate 5 is limited. Does anyone know if and how I can get the NIK suite of plugins to work with Corel's PSP Ultimate 5? Thanks

BIOTEACHER: GO AS FOLLOWS FILE/PREFERENCE/FILE-LOCATION/PLUGINS AND THEN ADD THE FILE WERE THE NEW PLUGIN IS LOCATED AND ADD TO THE LIST OF EXISTING ONES.

THIS SHOULD WORK FOR ALL PLUGINS... PSE ADDS AUTOMATICALLY BECAUSE IT SEARCHES... BUT PSP IS NOT DIFFICULT TO ADD TO.

YEP mtnredhed ALL OF THEM WORK WELL, THO I HAVE NOT USED STAR MUCH NOR LENS EFFECTS, BUT THEY KEEP IMPROVING THEM.... AND ALL SHOULD KNOW THAT THE IMPROVEMENT UPGRADES THUS FAR HAVE BEEN FREE. WEBINARS ARE INFORMATIVE.
