Its that time of week again where you are free to post whatever it is you want to show...
I know the calendar says that Annette will be the Host, but with her setback the last day or two she isnt able to do it. I didnt really prepare and today Colorado is getting dumped with snow, so my shots are from the last month or so.....
Annette will be looking in if she feels up to it, so give her a hello....
Here is what I have for you.....Cant wait to see what you all bring..... BRING IT!!!!

Please forgive me, but ... as a new member I need enlightenment. What happens "this time of week?" What's happening in June in CO? I thought we posted whatever we want to show anytime? Who is Annette?

I can answer a couple of your questions. This time of week is for members to contribute to the theme challenge. In June there is going to be a gathering of UHH members. To post whatever you would like, you need to start a new topic, you do this by going to the top of the page and click the link Create New Topic. Annette is one of our members who helps to create themes and is a regular, fantastic contributor. I hope that this helps. I look forward to seeing your posts.

The challenge is something that was started last year that a number of UHH members contribute to. Last year it was a daily challenge. The structure has changed since the beginning of 2013. Now there are three challenges a week. The first one begins on Saturday and goes through Monday. It is the weekend challenge and there is usually a topic for the pictures for that and the hump day challenge which runs Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Tuesday is usually a free day and called Hit Me With Your Best Shot. You can usually find the link to the next challenge towards the end of the current challenge. If you have any problems finding the next challenge please send me a private message and I will help you
Annette took over responsibility for the challenge beginning January 1 and is responsible for finding hosts for the weekly challenges and putting together a calendar for the month with the topics the hosts have submitted. Annette usually hosts the Tuesday challenge, but she is in the hospital right now battling cancer..
The Challenge is just one of many forums on UHH, but you are encouraged to submit anything you want by creating a new topic. The challenge is a structured forum usually with some kind of topic. All are encouraged to join in, and you will notice that the comments are friendly and nice and we have become friends in here.
Since we have become friends, we are having a photography get together in Colorado in June to meet face to face, socialize and go on shooting excursions together..
