Made this from scrapes I had around , needed to keep busy while recovering from another hospital stay . Can't wait till the wife lets me out to see how it works....So what do you think...?

Just thinking out load, would like to see the center of gravity back a little further. Not sure how much this set up will Flex when you add a long 100mm macro lens and maybe a flash.

My concern is vibration movement being exaggerated on your cantilever design, like a diving board.

I'd turn the DSLR around. so that the lens is over the center of the tripod. This is how I use my focusing rail.

The steel rods have no flex and all I plan on using is a 50mm with tubes...
