Your original photo is not a macro. I could see over-cropping & over-sharpening in your original post, so I asked to see original.

You have an excellent camera and lens combination. To capture a true macro-photograph with your lens, your Minimum Working Distance (lens front element to subject) is 135-mm = 5.3-inches. Many of us photograph a bit farther back than MWD (for better DoF), then crop just a bit to fill frame.
