Looksa lot like mine i have the 70-300 vr on a dx . You must have been using a fx or were a lot further away i was about 150 ft away but the 300 is =to 450mm in this case

My images posted here are "shrank" severly to fit. The originals are 24+ mp...
Yeah 7 grand.. and that's cheap... new they are $8500+
I'm glad you like you lens but sorry it can't do what this one does.
