The Catty Shack in Jacksonville, FL. Tough to shoot through double chain-link fences. I had to try long zoom and wide apeture to reduce DOF to minimum.

Now that you have practiced with the one in captivity come to South Dakota and catch one live in fact they are trying to exterminate mountain lions in the hills with a hunting season this year they had a limit of 100 lions and they only got 53 or 4 they should have their way by next year and we will have none at all. Great pictures ....

Well it makes many people in the hills angry but the problem is many fold as my wife and I see it they KILLED off all of the geese that were around a place called Canyon Lake Park reason: People were using the trails to Jog or Run or walk and they complained they were getting Goose crap all over their 150 to 300 dollar walking or running shoes Solution: Kill the Geese. Then they had to many deer in town and they were eating the expensive shrubs they hired a Expert Marksman to kill about 150 to 200 deer very sporting. Then the Mountain lions started moving down off the mountain and they was getting unattended small dogs and cats ,, answer destroy the Mountain Lions ,,,, they had a Moose in the center of town a few years back it was bothering no body so some one deemed it sick with something so here again they put it down where there was a school near by, this is the life style around Rapid City South Dakota and the Black Hills .... it sure is a shame that the little ones will never see a cat or moose or geese not if the city has its way .... KILL KILL is all one hears none of the people will ever learn to co-exist not if they can exterminate every thing that bothers them.

That's what happens when the decision makers know nothing more than how to read a teleprompter, dye their hair white and tell a lie without rubbing those nose.

It's a shame and not getting better.

Some days am glad I won't live to see more than another 10-15 years degradation.

Beautiful shots of beautiful animals. It's highly shameful how willing humans are to kill off so much of our wildlife. The same can be said about the Bureau of Land Management and their treatment of wild mustangs at the behest of some ranchers.

I frequently have to fight the impulse to consider most of mankind as analogous to cancer cells on this planet. DAMNED good thing for those, I'm not emperor of the earth.
