The elusive Brown Thrasher

It's raining today and I was looking through pictures taken last year. I came across this set that I've never shown. The bird is a Brown Thrasher. It's normally very spooky and difficult to get near. Even then it has a bad habit of always perching in dense brush. This one was different. I saw it in some Sumac as I pulled my car up to it. I lowered the window and took all shots from the driver's seat. At one point I couldn't get it in focus as it was too close. That may never happen to me again. I hope you enjoy them.
