Wisteria is, IMO, one of the most beautiful weeds in the Southern United States. When it's lavender flowers are at their peak, they can offer a solid wall of color that reaches 30 feet high. The downside is that this plant grows rapidly and can take over a yard, or a copse of trees, eventually choking out and killing the vegetation on which it climbs.
