God bless this man and let's hope the little girl fully recovers. How on earth will he ever be able to part from "his" little girl. Says me, with tears in my eyes.

John Gebhardt's wife, Mindy, said that this little girl's entire family was executed.
The insurgents intended to execute the little girl also, and shot her in the head.. but they failed to kill her.
She was cared for in John's hospital and is healing up, but continues to cry and moan.
The nurses said John is the only one who seems to calm her down, so John has spent the last four nights holding her while they both slept in that chair..
The girl is coming along with her healing.
He is a real Star of the war, and the hero of peace.
This, my friends, is worth sharing.
Go for it!! You'll never see things like this in the news.
Please keep this going.
Every person can make a difference in the life of someone even if it is one little girl.

Very sad but nice story! Thanks so much for sharing!
Marilyn.
I honestly don't know. I only received this email this morning. It can't be the little girl who was brought to England for treatment because she was about 6 or 7 years old and that was weeks ago now, she has returned home. The man is a superstar in my eyes.

Thank you Graham for sharing - poor kid . . .
This brought tears to my eyes. I pray that not only will she be okay but that she will find someone who will give her a loving home.
What an emotionally uplifting and heartbreaking story...all at the same time!
May God bless that man and the little girl and everyone involved as well!
There are truly some real heroes doing God's work here on this earth today!
