How did you find UHH? I have no idea how I found this forum, but I'm glad I did. ;)

I found it right after I bought my camera, I was hunting around different web-site's that could help me learn, and this was the one I liked the best....... don't even remember what the other's were

I went on a couple of sites, but this was my favorite. Aside from the nice people and info here, the design is very good. Some others are not set up well at all. The worst is (well, two worsts) black background with white writing and white background with gray writing.

After I received my dslr at Christmas 2012 I did a search for web sites dealing with photography and found UHH.
After viewing the questions and replies I joined in the fun.

In early August 2011 I was doing a websearch on a topic and a UHH entry popped up, so I clicked on it. There were less than 1000 entries on the site at that time. I did not officially "join" until November when I finally had something to say, but I did read the entries every day.

I've been trying to remember ever since I joined and I haven't had much success. I think that I may have seen a link in the on-line version of my daily newspaper regarding something to do with photography and it may have led me here but I can't be certain. It does bother me that I can't remember - maybe it was late into the evening after a few glasses of red. It could be worse - maybe early in the evening after a few glasses of white!!!

Anything that I come across that has the word "photo" in it , I read. I stumbled on this site a while ago and have enjoyed it so much that I don't look for any others.

I did a google search for photography forums right after I got my D600. I found 3 forums and like this one the best because of the ease of navigation

I started a thread about how I joined.
basically, I was on another site and saw this banner regarding one wierd trick that would elevate your photography.

Anyway, it brought me here.
Since then, I've noticed other uses of 'one wierd trick' for weight loss, lowering cholesterol.....
