I just came across a large batch of old photos from the 1900 to 1910 era that are in remarkablely good condition. While I was looking at them I couldn't help wonder what the folks in those photos would have thought if they could have seen pictures of the world we live in today. Enjoy!!! Absolutely fantastic! Thanks. The sailors in white didn't have any facial hair, and they looked like "modern men."

That is one amazing collection of images.

Thanks for sharing those fine photos with a quality that defies even present digital photos. Have we improved technology since those days.?

So interesting to look at. I had to laugh at the shot of air travel, with the woman strapped to the plane with a strip of cloth. Just look at the expression on her face! The clothes fashion and swimming gear are hilarious. I wonder which of my everyday shots will end up being viewed (and laughed at) in a hundred years time, in the way we are viewing and laughing at these.
The thing that intrigues me is how I don't miss not seeing colours in those pictures. Thanks for sharing.

I think the Government should use some of these photos to show how air pollution has improved over the years

Thanks for sending the link, they really are amazing pictures. Their quality is fantastic and again, like Jerry's post the other day, they make me want to shoot more in B & W.
