This story has been in the news for three or four days now. I find it disturbing that all of the media reports have to do with the content and how mean it was to Ashley Judd, and not to do with the illegality of the taping in the first place.

I live in the great state of Kentucky, but Mitch does not represent my values and wishes for my state or my country. He is an old-style political boss selling out to the highest bidder. That said, if his office was illegally tapped, that is wrong. Mitch's biggest threat will come from the right (ie. Tea Party). Will the outrage from conservatives continue if the FBI finds that a Tea Partier did the bugging? If you live in Kentucky, you know that is possible.

Whether or not you (or anyone for that matter) agrees with McConnell, I still find it disturbing that the media is so focused on the content of the tapes and not on the illegality of the taping.

What else do we expect from the liberal, left-leaning main stream media?

Are you complaining that the media is liberal and left-leaning, or is your dissatisfaction based on the idea that that they don't always say what you want to hear? Turn on Fox - you'll be happy.

This may go both ways now. If they find out that he was using his paid Senate staff to do some of the "dirt digging" while on Government time.

Ethics violations can be a serious charge.

Does it bother you that Fox calls them to task or that Fox is conservative. By the way I do hear liberal views on Fox. That should give you pause.

It bothers me that Fox almost exclusively calls liberals to task. Yes, liberals appear on Fox. Just look at the popular show 'The Five" - one chosen weak liberal and four conservatives. Is that truly fair and balanced? You can't complain about biased media and choose to get your "news" from Fox unless you are hypocritical.

Problem!YOUR choice for information lacks Any sense of information. Reminds me of a major criminal trial I conducted. After reading the news on the proceeding, the writer asked for an interview. I asked if before writing his article, had he even been in the courthouse before writing his piece. Well, that reminds me whence you must seek information. I do listen to Fox among other sources in an attempt to get some idea of what is truly going on. I do not drink the cool aide dispensed by media that suppresses that which it finds not to their agenda.

Case in point both of the view of the left and the slant of the mainstream news media

I never believe ANYTHING I hear on fox. Many times they flat out lie.

The taping of Mitch MAY not be illegal. Don't jump to conclusions.

He is a wicked, slimy man...so sorry for Ky.

Cheers....
