I had the opportunity to photograph at a charity tennis tournament. The first picture was my favorite shot of the 1700+ pictures I took that day.
The expression on the face of the gentlemen in the second photo is priceless!
Catching the action in the third shot, with ball and racket in motion and the player airborne, was a treat!

WOW! 1700 photos...that's a lot! Agreed, the third picture where the action is stopped is very nice.

What did you do in the first picture to make it look like that?

In photoshop, I duplicated the layer, used a cookie cutter on the new layer, added a bevel to the cookie cut layer, then reduced the brightness of the original layer.

:thumbup: Nice job, Walt. I love to see action in sports pics. I can understand taking so many pics of a match. I take that many when shooting soccer games. Thanks for showing.
