Always fascinated by this scene, though not sure if I have "lonely, desolate" or "surviving against all odds" going on here. Your input is welcomed.

Very nice picture with a clear expression of loneliness, which is even accentuated by the barbed-wire keeping the tree from the rest of the world. I like it!

I like the idea but the tree is lost in all the foreground and the shot looks to be very soft in focus. Intentional ??

Try to grt closer and get more of the tree and still keep the expanse of openness to shoe loneliness.

My .02 worth!!

Very nice Linda. I agree that it is a little soft. Looks like your focus is along the fence. I think if you crop some of the lighter colored bushes in front, add a little definition and some vibrancy. It would look really great. And the title will fit.:):)

Thank you for commenting, Raider Fan. I think I focused on foreground, will need to check depth of field. My 55-250 mm lens doesn't always give me great results on expansive scenes. I appreciate your input.

Well Linda, I find the fence a bit of a distraction. Personally, I would remove it. But what a cool tree! And what a neat photograph. The neatest part I think is that it can be cropped in so many different ways and still give that desolate look. Good job!
