Down here, anyway. Hummingbirds, that is. First one I saw 2 days ago and finally got my nectar together and up. The one couldn't wait. He flew around me waiting for me to hang it. Finally he hung on the top of the chain and sat, then I saw why. Another one came up and he went for the throat, well, ya know, Chased the other one off. But here we go.

Sorry the pix aren't very good. Supper was getting cold and I really wanted to get this up.

So are your Hummingbirds shy? I have one that will soon visit, but the little sucker will not even let me look at it!

Not the one dI mentioned in the opening post. He just flew around me waiting, telling me to hurry.
Last year they got pretty used to me and I could go around them pretty close. Gonna try again this year to feed from my hand.

We have a couple of feeders up and probably a dozen or so visiting. You walk out on the porch and you can bet they aren't shy.

Awesome! We had hummingbirds right outside our windows when we lived in Colorado.

I have my feeders out and waitig patiently here in RI.

In Vermont, these buggers use to come and wake me up in the morning by actually humming out side my bedroom window when the feeders went dry. They would also greet me at the door and come right up to my face to let me know they wanted nectar. They are amazing when they are mating. The males fly side to side in a large sem-circle, like a pendlum. They also can be pretty nasty to one another when they are competing.
