What is the Best Heavy Duty Tripod Strap?

My Son In Law borrowed my Bogen 3046 legs and 3063 head for a video shoot he had scheduled in the desert. In the process of carrying the tripod into the shoot he broke my old Bogen Carry Strap. The strap was so worn that I can't find any identifying marks... so I'm looking for recommendations from Hogs who carry heavy tripods.
Your help is appreciated.

I use both the Bogen straps as well as the OpTech Tripod Strap, neither has let me down as of yet. My Manfrotto 058B tripod and Gimbal head weighs in at close to 20 pounds!
My biggest gripe with the Bogen straps is the lower loop strap. I addressed that by adding a quick-release buckle to the mix and now I can carry the tripod with the lower legs extended on my Bogen 3021, a real time-saver when setting up quick is needed. I also did the same with my Bogen 3246 and FlashPoint Gimbal, its just a good idea that works!

Nice comments. Most appreciated. However, "a picture is worth a thousand words."

Can you also post pictures?

Happy to oblige you, but all I had handy was a P&S so the pics may not be great. The spring loaded clamshell buckle is available at many hardware stores. The straps "D" ring end will just fit through the 1" size buckle and won't fall off while dangling.
I hope these help.

Buckle on strap

Point and Shoot or DLSR... Both convey knowledge, one whole step above information and two steps above data. Thanks for the knowledge, on my way to the hardware store for some stainless goodies and a trip to my basement to visit my OpTech connector box to recycle some of the connectors and fasteners I harvest from Back Packing, Mountaineering and Photography bags that hit the dust bin of "Why did I buy that..."
Great engineered solution for a common problem and thanks for not suggesting deep analysis for loaning my gear. I was confident that he could not hurt a tank. My Bad :-(
Thank Again
Greg

I hope after 9 years, the OP already found a solution to his question.
