Osprey with Fish & In Flight

I am still photographing the Osprey..they are interesting & challenging birds to shoot.

195 mm @ 1/4000s, F9 ISO 1000

Thank you..Yes it is there was too much blank sky around it. Couldn't decide if I liked the crop or not.

The pair of Osprey with the nest is beautiful, you've captured a story there. The composition there is very good. The reason for my question on the second image is that I notice mottling in the sky, as though it were a smaller image to start and the bird enlarged. Because there are no other references in the photo the osprey looks a little big for the frame.

If it can take more cropping, I would take out even more of the sky and turn the second into a vertical. What a graceful bird!

That is a good idea...I had a hard time deciding what to do with the photo...I really like.
They are such beautiful & graceful birds.
