Great photos...I just love those little birds!
I am very impressed Dave with these two images, blue-tits don't stay still very long.

Hi DL :) I had a nesting box in my garden last summer and was very fortunate to be able to practice using my new Canon 100mm lens on them. They are really hard working rearing their chicks and I noticed they had a system where if they both turned up at the box at the same time, one would wait for the other to emerge, that's when I had the best opportunity. I was able to get within 6' of them and they would still carry on feeding. Despite this, I was not pleased with my results and hope to get another go this year..Nice shots..tfp :)
Thanks Carolina Wings and Macro
Hi Robbie this was about the same situation I had put a nest box up it the woodland where I take most of my photo's, the fence is close by and as you said if one is feeding the other would wait I was a bit luckier than you I could get within about 4 feet of them and even rest on the fence I tried it with a tripod and remote but they didn't like the tripod even with camo draped over it
