Nikonian72. Thank you SO MUCH for your post. I have been planning a trip
to Page to take photos of the slot canyons ever since my first view of images
taken there. Your link to the Gary Hart site not only put the real life experience
in perspective,he offers great tips on how to prepare best for the trip.
Although reading it was sort of an "there is no Santa Claus" moment, I
Foolishly was not thinking of the scene going on behind the tripod and
picnic basket I set up for me in an empty canyon. I'm still going as soon
as I can afford it but will be MUCH more prepared. Thank You again. Mike
