Our first crocuses of 2013

I saw these three crocuses next to an ugly slab of concrete in the corner of my backyard. They gave that corner of the yard some much needed beauty and some sublime nobility.

we have flowers and green all through the winter but I do miss that moment of seeing a crocus pop up through the snow! Abeautiful shot! I hope Spring is truly on it's way as you have had a long and cold winter.
