I've been quite surprised at how many birds I've seen that are handicapped, deformed or hurt...saddens me.

Are they actually missing the foot or just resting? Normally when a bird is at rest it will draw up one foot such as these appear to have done.

Thats really strange, one I could see but not several. I've noticed birds on 1 foot back in the swamp but they sleep standing on one leg.
