From growing up in the 50's to Viet Nam in the 60's I adored watching this talented tireless unselfish man (Bob Hope) warm the hearts of many. There will never be another one like him....may he rest in peace
Great dance routine!! tyhanks much for sharing this with us Steve. I loved it.......
Today's so called comedians couldn't carry these guys water,no filthy language no nudity just plain old talent,Thanks.
Thanks SteveR, that was great! :-D
Thanks for posting--love it and always liked both of them-no talent like that today
Duane D.
Great job Steve--We need more of them & the Fred Astair's -Either I'm looking in the wrong places, or they just don't make them anymore. Nice Clean Cut Acts-no dirty jokes---maybe a few ethnic-but they do that about us too.
Yes guys: Finally a subject in which I think we all agree!!!!
Talents like them are not among us anymore...sad, really sad.
Great!! I have everyone of Fred Astaire's movies.

Great movie and routine. I have the movie in my collection. The only ones to come close is Gregory Hines and Sammy Davis Jr. I think the movie was TAPS.

Gregory Hines was great in Taps. He died too soon.

Both Bob & Jimmy started out in vaudeville and it shows. The greats of the greats. As Bob would say "Thanks for the memories".

Nothing like it, and never will be again
