First snow of year covers the southern Adirondacks, taking us from fall to winter. What are your shots of the change.

Interesting, the snow was hard to see in the smaller image that I first saw. Had to blow the image up to see the snow. It appears that the foreground is not in sharp focus and I think the detail in the trees with the snow would be more interesting if it were.
Adirondack Hiker...Did you know there are several web cams around Old Forge and on McCauley Mountain? They're on the Town of Webb website. I keep an eye on them, watching the seasonal changes.
It's 26 degrees and the sun is beginning to light the sky right now in Old Forge. It's 35 and dark as a tomb here in the Smoky Mountains of North Carolina. Just thought I'd put that out there, LOL.
