Seeing all the photos and discussion on our forum today about Veteran's Day, made me think about what our men and women have sacrificed for our freedom. I am so thankful to each of them. I'd like to thank those men and women who serve in our towns: the police, fire, paramedics, EMT's. I'm just so thankful for these people who made the choice to serve.
My father-in law was in the Navy and my son choose to service in the Navy and he is stationed in Virginia Beach. He is attached to Fighter Squadron VA-106. Here is a couple photos I'd like to share. I welcome anyone else who wants to post photos of their military men or women. Cheryl

Thank you dragonfist, it means so much when we hear thanks for our sons, daughters, family members sacrificing for our freedom. I may not agree the reason for our being in Iraq or Afgan, but I support our troops 1000%

Thank you for posting the photo of your son. I am thankful to his service, wow 8 years! My son has only been in for two years but seems to doing quite well. Very true, I don't always agree either but no matter what they deserve 100% of our support. Cheryl

What a handsome man and I know how proud you are as I was with my son too. Isn't it amazing to see these young people serve! So many youth have the wrong direction and we were so happy when Nathan chose to join the Navy. Although, it took him three attempts to get him as he had a medical waiver. Cheryl
